Very occasionally you may see an error like this:
XML parsing error: 'not well-formed (invalid token)' at line 300
The application could not load section Chapter 3.
In this case a strange character got into your project, perhaps due to file corruption, but it can be fixed as follows.
Select all the XML that was shown in the editor instead of regular text, and copy it to the clipboard, for example using Ctrl+A Ctrl+C.
Paste it into a text editor, such as Windows Notepad.
Go to the line mentioned in the error and remove the paragraph.
Save it as UTF-8 (no BOM marker).
Go back to Jutoh (editing the same section) and click on Edit on the toolbar to show the Project Properties. Click on the Document page, then on Load XML, selecting the file you previously saved.
The section should now be restored (if you got rid of all offending characters) and you can retype the missing paragraph(s).
