Occasionally you may see text that is slightly cut off on the right when viewing in Kindle for PC. This can happen for italic text at the right-hand edge of the display. It can show if you have right-aligned, italic headings, for example, or whole paragraphs containing italic text.
This only seems to happen for italic text, and only in Kindle for PC as far as we can tell. It would appear to be a bug in Kindle for PC, triggered by a Jutoh fix for a different problem, but can be worked around as follows.
In your Kindle configuration, edit the option Body CSS (either just click on the link in this topic, or click Edit next to the Kindle selection at the bottom left of the Jutoh window and search for Body CSS). You will probably see the text:
body { margin: 0 0.1pt }
Change 0.1pt to 1pt in order to increase the right margin. The original purpose of the CSS was to ensure that first-line indent appears the same as whole-paragraph left indent at large text sizes; but the small right margin seems to interfere with Kindle for PC formatting. 1pt should be enough to avoid clipping.
Jutoh 2.86 and above will change the original default value to the new one when opening project files.
