There appears to be a bug in enhanced typesetting, as seen in Kindle Previewer 3, whereby list indentation is a different size from paragraph indentation. On some viewers (KP3, iPad) the indentation is greater, and on others (such as Cloud Reader) it's less. In Look Inside and Kindle for PC, the indentation is correct according to the list definition within Jutoh, and all Epub readers also show the correct indentation.
There don't appear to be any combinations of CSS that rectify this, so instead, Jutoh can ignore the values in your list style definitions and use the Kindle defaults. This way, the list indentation will be consistent across Kindle readers. Enable the configuration option Use default list indentation to use this workaround. This will be enabled by default in Jutoh 2.87 and later when opening old project files or creating new ones.
Jutoh will emit a warning if the following criteria are met:
the project is being compiled for Kindle;
there are lists in the project;
The configuration option Use default list indentation is not enabled.
We hope Amazon will fix this problem in the future, and make the workaround unnecessary.
