You can insert a horizontal rule using the command Format | Insert | Horizontal Rule (Shift+Ctrl+B), or you can search for "rule" in the Objects tab of the Formatting Palette and double-click it.
In the horizontal rule dialog, you can specify the style (such as Default or Shaded), the alignment (Left, Centre or Right), and the width as a percentage of the page or absolute value in cm or in.
If you specify the value as a percentage, Jutoh can add a workaround for a centring bug in Adobe Digital Editions that causes the rule to be left-aligned: so using a percentage is best.
You can set a height (rule thickness) in cm or in, and a colour.
You can also specify advanced properties as described here in the Jutoh manual.
Note that the rule won't appear as a rule in Jutoh editor: it will be shown as a 'rule' object. You can click the object to edit properties.
