Jutoh projects tend to be quite large since they contain a lot of data (including your book text, images, the cover, and style sheets) but they can also expand if you do a lot of edits, due to fragmentation of the project file. If you delete sections, the project won't automatically shrink to reflect the deleted data.
To shrink a file to its minimum size, especially before emailing it to someone, use the command File | Compact Project.
From Jutoh 2.14, projects can be compressed, which can save a lot of space when combined with compacting a project. To use compression, go to Project Properties/Options and check Compress project. This will prompt if you want to 'resave' all the data in the project to reflect the compression option (otherwise the compression will take place the next time you save a document or the overall project).
You can also check the global setting Compress projects in Preferences/Advanced so that new projects you create will be compressed.
If you need your projects to be compatible with versions of Jutoh earlier than 2.14, switch compression off.
