KB0342: Why is zoom disabled on the Kindle for Windows and Mac applications?

When viewing your book on Kindle for Windows or Kindle for Mac, the Zoom menu is disabled. Unfortunately Amazon has not implemented zoom for reflowable or fixed layout books on this application, and you can't click to zoom in to images. Zoom may be enabled for 'print replica' books converted from PDF files.

The mobile version of Kindle is much more functional, and you can tap to show images full screen.
